The creation and maintenance of fair international competitive conditions are crucial for domestic industry. This requires reforms at a global level, especially in the WTO, but also the conclusion of further bilateral trade agreements between the EU and large economic areas. The latter increase our export opportunities and create binding rules for all market participants. This is the only way we can continue to succeed in the race with the USA and China in the future.
