During the crisis, we have learnt what the solidarity and helpfulness of the EU countries means. In the worst phase of the pandemic, Slovakia needed help with the intensive care of critically ill patients. The willingness of the EU states to help was impressive. It was also thanks to them that we were able to overcome the crisis. This is a good example of why we need more integration in Europe, including in the healthcare sector.
