25th Europa-Forum Wachau is postponed to 2021

EFW President Eichtinger: Decision in the interests of responsibility and health

After intensive preparations for the big 25th anniversary, the Europa-Forum Wachau will be postponed until next year. "The decision was not an easy one, but in the spirit of responsibility for everyone's health, we are postponing this year's event until 2021," said the President of the Europa-Forum Wachau, Provincial Councillor Martin Eichtinger.

The planned events of the Europa Forum Wachau will take place from 10-12 June 2021.

The first Europe Forum took place in 1995, the year Austria joined the European Union. Since then, 28 heads of government, 34 foreign ministers, EU commissioners and over 10,000 representatives from business, diplomacy, culture, politics and the media have been guests at Göttweig Abbey. Over the past quarter of a century, the Forum has developed into an international event for European future issues.
