The Bratislava Self-Governing Region is a dynamically developing region. The high concentration of economic activity and transport has a negative impact on the environment and places high demands on energy sources. Therefore, our priorities include supporting sustainable mobility, increasing the energy efficiency of buildings and implementing climate change adaptation measures. This is all in line with the European Green Deal agreed by the European Commission in December 2019 and its key objective of achieving climate neutrality in the European Union by 2050.
