Hydrogen - a building block on the road to the energy transition
Energy generated from hydrogen is versatile, almost unlimited and, above all, clean. For reasons of climate protection, there is therefore much to be said in favour of increasing the use of hydrogen. In addition to mobility, this also applies to industrial applications, feeding into the gas grid and storing electrical energy.
So there is no way around hydrogen. Neither when it comes to the energy transition, climate protection or sustainability, nor when it comes to innovation, economic growth, competitiveness and jobs: Europe is focussing on the use of hydrogen in all sectors. The focus here is on so-called green hydrogen, which is produced using renewable energies.
