The Europa Forum Wachau 2020 will take place from 4 June to 6 June at Göttweig Abbey.

2020 is a special year for Austria and Europe. On the one hand we are celebrating "25 years of Austria in the EU", and on the other hand, 70 years ago the then French Foreign Minister Robert Schuman laid the foundation for the first European Community with his speech on 9 May. These anniversaries are the reason why Lower Austria chose the following title for this year's Europe Day event "25 years of Austria in the EU - 25 years back and forward".

Due to the current situation, the next Salon Europa-Forum Wachau in Tulln is cancelled. The measures introduced by the government are supported on all levels and therefore this step was taken. The welfare of the Austrian population is of primary concern. We are looking forward to welcoming you at the next meetings and hope to see you soon!
